Atkins, which is part of the SNC-Lavalin Group, has increased its footprint in India. The Mumbai office of Atkins is part of the company's Global Technology Center (GTC) in India, which is an integral part of the company's global delivery model.
The GTC provides capabilities and talent to work alongside the company's regions and markets on major client deliveries, driving standardisation, resilience, delivery quality, and technical excellence.

In order to support our worldwide delivery strategy, they have dramatically increased their presence in India during the last decade as per Hoare. He also said that GTC played a crucial part in realising their mission to construct a brighter future for the planet and its inhabitants by means of the technology and design solutions produced here.
Strategically positioned in the heart of Vikhroli West in Mumbai, Embassy 247 Office Park – Wing C, Atkins' new office features world-class infrastructure and amenities that will accommodate over 250 people. Green certifications from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) and the US Green Building Council (USGBC) reinforce the company's commitment to a sustainable, digitally upgraded, and agile working paradigm.
Through its end-to-end services across the project lifecycle, centres of excellence, and first-rate quality management and procedures, GTC enables SNC-worldwide Lavalin's markets and regions by leveraging a decade of expertise and a plethora of technical skills. GTC, which employs 3,000 people in India, has offices in Bangalore, New Delhi, and a recently constructed office in Mumbai.
