The Indian real estate giant Ashiana Housing Ltd. is planning a major expansion. The business wants to spend Rs 700 crore in two luxury home projects in Jaipur and two senior living projects in Chennai.

Ashiana Housing has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Rajasthan government to spend Rs 420 crore in the city of Bhiwadi over the next three years for the construction of residential buildings.

Bhiwadi is a relatively safe palace for real estate investment, compared to some other high-profile micro-markets in north India, where property acquisition issues have made the investor wait endlessly.
