India's 2025 budget takes a big step towards adopting electric vehicles (EVs), seeking to alter the transportation industry and contemporary storage. The government's comprehensive plan to boost EV production and charging infrastructure is crucial to promoting their wider acceptance.

The Bombay High Court heard a PIL asking the court to direct the Registrar of Cooperative Housing Societies to set rules for installing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in co-op housing societies.  The court notified the parties and ordered a hearing on January 6, 2021.
