The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) would increase application opportunities. In March and June 2025, the Mumbai Board will hold a lottery for 3,000 residences. Patrawala Chawl in Goregaon may provide 2,500 of these dwellings.

The Bombay high court ordered Mhada, which is self-developing Goregaon's Patra Chawl redevelopment project, to provide an occupancy certificate (OC) to a builder for the free-sale Ekta Tripolis tower within two weeks on Tuesday.

The state cabinet decided on 23rd June 2021 that the Maharashtra Housing Area Development Authority will now be incharge of the development of Siddharth Nagar (Patra Chawl) at Goregaon West.
