A plan to construct a new expressway adjacent to the Mumbai-Pune Expressway is now underway. The first phase of this project will stretch from JNPA (Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority) to Chowk (Karjat). The highway will later extend from Chowk towards Pune and eventually reach Bengaluru.

In a decisive move to expedite the allocation of houses to approximately 3,000 buyers, a high-powered committee led by the chief secretary has directed the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) to fast-track the approval of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Wave City.
