More than 15 years after vacating their homes, 640 families from Patra Chawl in Goregaon West are finally set to return, following a long-drawn redevelopment marred by financial scandals and political controversies.

The Rhythm House near Kala Ghoda in Mumbai has reopened after closing permanently in 2016. Bhaane Retail, a Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd. affiliate, bought the famed music shop for INR 48 crore.

Emaar India Ltd and MGF Developments Ltd have had immovable assets worth over 401 acres and ₹834 crore temporarily attached by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Emaar owns properties worth ₹501.13 crore, while MGF Developments retains the remaining assets at ₹332.69 crore.
