Indian real estate developers have focused more on hotels due to the rising travel industry. Post-pandemic domestic travel is increasing demand for premium hotel infrastructure, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

L&T Realty and Valour Estate, formerly DB Realty, have partnered to create a ₹20,000-crore project on a 10-acre land block in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). The project will contain luxury apartments, commercial areas, and a 1,000-key five-star hotel near the Bombay High Court complex.

Real estate developer Hiranandani Group has entered development management. The company will provide development, building, design, marketing, and sales solutions to other real estate players via national partnerships.

Walton Street BlackSoil, renamed WSB Real Estate Partners, wants to raise more money. With its 700-crore second fund expected to be fully deployed in a few months, the business is focused on south Indian markets.
