K Raheja Corp has acquired a 5.75-acre plot in Kandivali East, Mumbai, for ₹466 crore, marking its fourth major property deal in recent months, with plans to develop a premium residential project.

K Raheja Corp is redeveloping Mumbai's first mall, Sobo Central Mall, into a premium residential tower. It encompasses 1.3 acres in South Mumbai's premium Haji Ali neighbourhood and was launched in the late 1990s as Crossroads. A 50-story sea view skyscraper with almost 250,000 sq ft of development.

As lenders grapple to recover their investments from the debt-stricken retailer, the focus has shifted to the potential recovery through the asset held by Bansi Mall Management Co Pvt Ltd (BMMCPL), a subsidiary under the umbrella of the Future Group.
