Kanakia Spaces entered two distinct agreements to undertake the redevelopment of large housing societies in Borivali, a prominent suburb in Mumbai.

The House of Hiranandani has signed agreements to redevelop five housing societies in Mumbai's Chembur suburb, a significant step towards urban renewal. These redevelopment projects, which encompass approximately 15 acres, offer a development potential of over 1.7 million square feet.

Mumbai: Leasehold housing societies can now convert to freehold for a fraction of the Ready Reckoner (RR) fee. The state has granted leasehold housing societies this concession, analogous to collector's land (class 2 occupation).

Paradigm Realty plans to redevelop 11 housing societies in Bandra and Kandivali, Mumbai, with a revenue potential of ₹4,500 crore. Over 2.8 million sq ft will be covered by the projects.

Bangalore-based Puravankara, one of India's largest real estate developers, won the redevelopment rights for two Lokhandwala, Andheri west housing complexes. Puravankara's initial venture into western suburb redevelopment with this purchase is notable.
