Mumbai will build a modern inter-state parking hub on the Dahisar toll naka site. The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) hopes to reduce traffic in Mumbai by providing parking for drivers from outside the city.

In April 2022, the Mith Chowky flyover near Malad started construction, causing traffic congestion. Authorities expect to finish the flyover by December after it took more than 18 months to build.
