The Government of Assam has launched the Integrated Land Records Management System (ILRMS) or Dharitree, a portal that provides digital access to all property-related records. It is maintained by the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management of the State Government.
This department monitors, inspects, digitises, and manages land records documents. It also provides cadastral maps for verifying the location of a property within the state. A citizen can readily register and verify documents online, as well as obtain prints and determine the status of submitted applications pertaining to land records.
