Acquisition of Amazon Fulfilment Centre at Hyderabad

IndoSpace Core, a prominent investor, developer, and proprietor of industrial real estate, has expanded its pan-India portfolio by acquiring the Amazon Fulfilment Centre in Hyderabad from GMR Group for an enterprise value of 188.1 crore.

This is IndoSpace's first acquisition in a metropolis in the south. This investment strengthens IndoSpace's regional presence and considerably expands its relationship with its most important tenants.

The acquisition adds approximately 58 million square feet of sophisticated logistics and industrial infrastructure across 51 sites in India to IndoSpace's portfolio. The asset in Hyderabad Airport City is strategically located near key transportation centres, allowing for easy access to the airport, main highways, and railways, as well as excellent city connectivity.

"This transaction enables us to expand our presence in Hyderabad, which has become an important logistics and real estate market in India.

"Taking the inorganic route will allow us to expand and strengthen our national presence quickly and efficiently."

IndoSpace is a joint venture between Everstone Group, GLP, and Realterm, both located in the United States.

This warehouse facility was divested through the sale of a 100% equity stake in GMR Hyderabad Airport Assets (GHAAL), a subsidiary of GMR Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL) that possessed the warehouse facility.
