In a Major Boost to Chennai Real Estate, the Chennai development authority's single-window system for construction approvals has been activated. The Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority's one window approach for construction approvals, first proposed almost four years ago, has now launched on a trial basis.

Recently four bids for planning approval were posted to https://onlineppacmda.tn.gov.in/

As per Anshul Mishra, CMDA member-secretary this service would be available to the public shortly.

He also added that if inspections are not completed within a certain time, the application is declared authorised, and the onus is on the person in charge.

A certain member of Institute of Architects who uploaded one of his firm's projects confirmed that ehe experience was wonderful. He also added that this time constraint and the goal of guaranteeing that the next step occurs within a certain time frame will aid in the development of various initiatives in Chennai over the next several months. The architects said that the online procedure would eliminate the need for human intervention.

Overall this major step from the Chennai Government would definitely bring further ease, transparency improving the Chennai real estate market overall.
