Axis Bank and Mahindra Lifespace Developers (MLDL), the infrastructure and real estate development division of the Mahindra Group, have formed a partnership. By virtue of this collaboration, clients of Mahindra Lifespaces are now eligible to obtain home loans at a competitive interest rate, reduced by 0.25% compared to the prevailing rates for conventional home loans.
By placing emphasis on the fundamental principles of this partnership, the process of applying for and disbursing loans will be streamlined, requiring minimal documentation in order to reduce paper wastage and guarantee effective document administration.
By means of this collaborative alliance, both organisations strive to promote the adoption of environmentally conscious behaviours and the selection of sustainable housing developments by consumers.
Sumit Bali, group executive and director of retail banking, stated that consumers had become more environmentally conscious as a result of increased awareness and were actively pursuing financial solutions to reduce their daily carbon footprint. Through the incorporation of cutting-edge, environmentally aware methodologies, the two institutions actively promoted the adoption of green housing among clients utilising Axis bank-granted loans to construct their ideal residences and thereby make a positive environmental impact.
According to Mahindra Lifespace Developers' chief business officer (residential) for the Western region, Vimalendra Singh, the company is confident that its collaboration with Axis Bank will motivate clients to select environmentally sustainable structures, thereby enabling them to not only reduce their carbon emissions but also take advantage of advantageous interest rates. Furthermore, this further emphasised their unwavering dedication to the advancement of sustainable development. They promote environmental responsibility as developers with a portfolio comprised entirely of net-zero residences and a steadfast commitment to do so by 2030.
