Mindspace Business Parks REIT Collaborates With The Government of Telangana to Build a School

Mindspace Business Parks REIT has built a brand-new school for the children of Gambhiraopet, a village in the Telangana district of Sircilla.

The school is the first of its type in the city and its facilities surpass international standards. With 'education' as a key lever in Mindspace REIT's ESG efforts and a clear aim to 'create sustainable ecosystems,' the company expands its building expertise for the community and future generations.

Through this endeavour, Mindspace REIT aimed to develop a premier educational institution dedicated to teaching youngsters not just how to count, but also what counts.

The development was performed in collaboration with the government of Telangana State and under the aegis of the K Raheja Foundation.

The classrooms, library, and training centres of the brand-new institution are distributed over 10,000 square feet. Mindspace REIT supports the state government's efforts and broader commitment to providing outstanding education to rural parts of India via the project aptly titled "Our Village, Our School"

The size of the classrooms exceeds 10,000 square feet.

The chief executive officer, Vinod Rohira, stated, "Education and services that are inclusive and of high quality create a strong foundation for developing an equitable society. We are thrilled to work with the government to create this educational institution for the community, using our construction and curation expertise. Students from this rural hamlet have an equal chance to be prepared for the future owing to the school's world-class faculty and resources. Anurag Jayanti, collector and district magistrate of Rajanna Sircilla, said, "Mana Ooru Mana Badi ("The 'Our Village - Our School') was founded for this aim, and we are glad that Mindspace REIT and K Raheja Foundation are helping to this endeavour by building the school. We are glad that Gambhiraopet has a school with international-standard facilities." As part of its ESG initiatives, Mindspace REIT has recently developed a Skywalk in Mindspace Madhapur, Hyderabad, to reduce carbon emissions from last-mile travel and simplify access to Raidurg Metro Station.
