The National Real Estate Development Council and the Warehouse Association of India have signed a memorandum of understanding to resolve the challenges that warehouse developers confront with regard to construction and land.

A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the National Real Estate Development Council (Naredco) and the Warehousing Association of India. Naredco is the apex real estate authority that operates under the auspices of the ministry of housing and urban affairs, which is part of the Government of India (WAI). Members of the Warehouse Association International (WAI) typically consist of those who create and operate warehouses, in addition to stakeholders connected with the warehousing industry.

The MOU aims to ease the construction and land-related obstacles that warehouse developers are up against. In addition to this, it intends to address the challenges and issues that are faced by regulators, licensees, licences and approvals, as well as those who are engaged in the establishment and operation of warehousing and logistics businesses.

In addition, the participants will define criteria for ethical, profitable, and efficient business operations linked with logistics, storage, and other business-related activities. In addition, Naredco and WAI will promote awareness of sustainability via various outreach programmes such as seminars, webinars, and other such events.

Rajan N. Bandelkar, the president of Naredco, made the following statement after the signing of this MOU: "With the signature of this MOU, we have set the path for a comprehensive cooperation and collaboration to solve the construction and land-related challenges that warehouse developers confront." The sharing of knowledge and experience between the two organisations will provide a substantial amount of value and new perspectives to the sector. In addition to this, the members of Naredco will make a substantial contribution toward the standardisation of infrastructure connected to warehouses and land-related assets.

Also commenting on the agreement, Sunil Tyagi, honorary secretary of the Warehouse Association of India (WAI), said, "Our signing of the MoU with Naredco, one of India's leading real estate development enterprises, is yet another milestone in WAI's efforts to build the warehousing sector in India. " In order to realise WAI's goals, our mission is to forge partnerships with a wide variety of industry leaders and organisations.

This is a step in the direction of our relationship with Naredco, which aims to demonstrate high standards of efficiency, effectiveness, and ethical business practises in the warehousing industry. Since policies enacted by the government are providing growth with tailwinds, there has never been a better time than now. Everything is coming together well, and we foresee rapid change to the warehousing business as a result. The sector as a whole will unquestionably advance as a result of our relationship.
