Roche Information Solutions India leases office space in Pune

Brookfield Properties will receive INR 210 crore in rent over the course of Co's 9-year long-term lease.
Roche's India subsidiary has leased more than 200,000 square feet of office space from Brookfield Properties' commercial complex in Pune's Baner neighbourhood, according to sources with firsthand knowledge of the transaction.
Roche Information Solutions India, the digital healthcare division of the world's largest pharmaceutical company, will pay over Rs 210 crore in rent over the course of the 9-year lease.
"The transaction has been completed, and both parties have agreed to the lease terms. The transaction is likely to be recorded within the next few days, according to one of the aforementioned parties.
The 45 Icon commercial development is owned jointly by Brookfield Properties and Raviraj Abhinandan Developers.
On a plot size of over 3.34 acres, the project's approximately 400,000 square feet of rentable space is constructed.
In addition to Roche, Tarana Wireless, a US-based provider of fixed wireless access solutions, and Infobeans Cloudtech, a cloud consulting and outsourcing company, are also major tenants of the commercial tower.
The previous year, Roche Pharma announced that it would establish its second data analytics centre in Hyderabad, India.With the incorporation of Roche Information Solutions India in 2015, Roche is leveraging the power of data analytics and workflow integration to help laboratories improve patient care through more efficient data management.
As one of the largest investors in Indian real estate, Brookfield owns more than 50 million square feet in India's gateway cities.
Pune commercial real estate market is hot
In the year's largest commercial real estate transaction, BNY Mellon recently signed a nine-year lease with real estate developer Prestige Group for a tower containing nearly one million square feet of office space in Pune's Kharadi neighbourhood.
Recently, the Indian division of U.S.-based Cognizant Technology Solutions renewed two lease agreements for over 627,500 square feet of office space in the Hinjewadi Rajiv Gandhi IT Park in Pune.
As part of its India expansion plan, Deloitte Consulting India leased over 156,000 square feet at the International Tech Park in Pune's Kharadi neighbourhood for ten years in April.
Prior to that, Springer Nature, a research publisher based in Germany, leased for ten years over 110,000 square feet in the Gera Commerzone information technology special economic zone in the Kharadi neighbourhood.
