Rx Propellant, a provider of infrastructure for life sciences companies, has leased out a research and development (R&D) facility spanning 130,000 square feet in Hyderabad to GV Research Platform (GVRP), a leading contract research organization in the bio-pharma industry. The transaction, valued at Rs. 162 crore for a 10-year period, marks the largest deal in India's life sciences real estate segment.
Strategic Location for Cutting-Edge Research
The leased facility, Nextopolis, situated in the Genome Valley of Hyderabad, is set to enhance GVRP's ability to broaden its service offerings and integrate its operations. Developed by Modi Properties, Nextopolis is poised to become a cornerstone for GVRP’s expansion, allowing the company to combine its research models and preclinical testing capabilities efficiently.

GVRP is set to leverage the Nextopolis facility to strengthen its position in the market by offering integrated research services. Rx Propellant boasts a significant presence in Hyderabad's Genome Valley, with seven projects covering 2.5 million square feet, highlighting its role as a key player in the region's life sciences infrastructure development.
