In a testament to the soaring demand for premium real estate, Vibha Shanghvi, from the promoter group of Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries, has made headlines with her acquisition of two sea-facing luxury apartments in Mumbai’s upscale Worli locality. With a total investment of ₹130 crore, this move cements Worli’s position as a hotspot for India’s elite.
The Shanghvi Legacy Meets Luxury
Vibha Shanghvi, wife of India’s richest healthcare tycoon and Sun Pharma founder Dilip Shanghvi, purchased these properties in Naman Xana, a super-premium under-construction tower on Worli Sea Face. Known for its opulence, Naman Xana boasts proximity to landmarks like the bungalow of Mukesh Ambani’s daughter, enhancing its appeal to the ultra-wealthy.
Details of the Record-Breaking Acquisition
Apartment One:
Spread across 6,458 sq. ft., this residence was acquired for ₹65 crore.
With a rate of ₹1 lakh per sq. ft., the apartment includes three car parking spaces.
Apartment Two:
Spanning 5,813 sq. ft., the second property was also purchased for ₹65 crore.
This translates to an impressive rate of ₹1.12 lakh per sq. ft.
