In a significant move that underscores the burgeoning demand for flexible workspaces in India, Table Space Technologies has embarked on a notable expansion by leasing over 100,000 square feet at the iconic Cafe Coffee Day Square in Bengaluru. This strategic location, known for its erstwhile role as the corporate headquarters and flagship store of Cafe Coffee Day, now sets the stage for a new era of workspace solutions.

Strategic Lease for Future Growth

The leased space on Vittal Mallya Road, one of Bengaluru's most prestigious addresses, spans a substantial area, with the lease agreement extending over 60 months. This includes a lock-in period to secure stability and a rental rate of Rs 175 per square foot, subject to a 10% escalation every two years. This move not only highlights Table Space's commitment to providing premium flexible office spaces but also showcases the potential for growth in this sector.

A Growing Footprint in Flexible Workspaces

With this latest acquisition, Table Space's portfolio now boasts over 9.5 million square feet, translating to more than 75,000 seats across seven key Indian cities. The company's ambitious goal is to expand its footprint to 21 million square feet by the end of 2026, further cementing its position as a leader in the managed offices and TS Suites domain. These move-in-ready office solutions are tailored to meet the evolving needs of modern businesses, offering flexibility and efficiency in workspace management.

The Surge in Flexible Office Demand

The flexible office sector in India is experiencing unprecedented growth, driven by the rise of startups, changing work dynamics, and the shift towards more cost-effective and adaptable work environments post-pandemic. Companies of varying sizes and from different sectors are increasingly adopting flexible office models for their flagship offices, research and development centers, and other business operations. This trend highlights the growing appeal and versatility of flexible office solutions, meeting the diverse needs of businesses across the country.
