Trustee of the Vedanta Foundation and head of Vedanta Group business Hindustan Zinc Ltd, Kiran Agarwal, recently spent INR 45 crore for a mansion in south Mumbai's exclusive Worli neighbourhood.
Five parking spots are included with the 3083.38 square foot apartment on the 36th floor of the 'Raheja Legend' building on Anie Besant Road. The price per square foot works out to around INR 1.46 thousand.
Additionally, she is the wife of Vedanta Resources Ltd.'s chairman, Anil Agarwal. The apartment is located on the 36th floor of the 'Raheja Legend' building on Anie Besant Road and has a total area of 3083.38 square feet. It also includes five parking spots. The price per square foot comes to around INR 1.46 lakh.
According to documents acquired via Zapkey, a website that gathers publicly available property registration data, Agarwal bought the property from Narang Group chairman Rahul Narang on 1 July 2022 and paid INR 2.25 crore in stamp duty for the property.
With the completion of Raheja Legend, Raheja Universal Pvt Ltd. entered the real estate market. Over a hundred dwellings, most with four bedrooms, are packed into an area of about an acre.
Even if there are fewer Grade A developers in sought-after areas, demand for high-end homes in Mumbai, the country's most valuable real estate market, has remained steady.
The demand for ultra-luxury real estate in Mumbai is growing despite the city's economic slump, inflationary pressures, and fears of a global recession.
